Samblastiado technique
This is a process of sandblasting, which was granted in the U.S. in 1870. The two slightly different applications.
The first is the cleanliness of a surface of all you can hold on to it.
The second is to burn or carve designs or words on the surface of a glass through a silica sand jet launched by a compressor with special nozzles.
Sandblasting is a general term used to describe the act of propelling thin material at high speed to clean a surface or burn. The sand used to be the most widely used material, but as silicosis, lung disease caused by inhalation dust created by sand and other materials are now used instead, relatively uniform particles, such as steel grit, copper slag, walnut shells, abrasive dust, even pieces of coconut shell. Because of the dangers of inhalation of dust during the blasting is carefully controlled, using an alternate air source, protective clothing and adequate ventilation.
In the glass etching, was criticized for turning the glass slightly in a somewhat opaque, but the glass can be used with great effect to produce words or images. By adjusting the speed of sandblasting and the angle from which the abrasive starts, you can create different tones, allowing glimpses of true works of art. The glass is carved by sandblasting steadily, the surface through a template that protects the areas that do not want to be carved. The Sandblasting as a technique of engraving can be very refined, with different depths and angles of cuts to create a shade of lighting effects that can be very beautiful.
